Vee-go Energy Pellets are made in Massachusetts and Connecticut by local entrepreneurs working with local farmer owned cooperatives. Because our heating pellets are made from the inedible waste produced when processing grains into food, Vee-Go Energy Pellets do not compete with food crops. In fact, as we grow more food grains, we produce more inedible grain by-products and can manufacture more Vee-Go Energy Pellets.

Unlike wood pellets which have a twenty year carbon cycle, Vee-Go Energy Pellets have a carbon cycle of only three months which makes them even more environmentally friendly. Vee-Go Energy Pellets provide more BTU's of heat per dollar than wood pellets and yet contain absolutely no wood, no wood creosote, have no acrid odor when burned and do not contribute to deforestation.
The raw materials for Vee-Go Energy Pellets are purchased locally so less fossil fuels are used to bring them to you. This means less pollution from transportation and more stable prices as fossil fuel prices increase dramatically in the near future.

This is why Vee-Go Energy has committed to donate ten percent (10%) of its corporate stock plus five percent (5%) or more of its profits to the local community to be administered by the E2M Regional Economic Council of Western Massachusetts (E2M-REC). This body of citizens will use its funds to form more community owned companies, provide low interest loans to E2M certified companies and entrepreneurs, create affordable housing, fund youth educational and entrepreneurial programs, and other community building activities. Vee-Go will commit an additional five percent (5%) of its stock for employee stock purchases and profit sharing.
